This quest is given to you by Toni one of the Don's men. He can be found sitting on a bench north west of the blacksmith in the merchant quarter of Harbour Town.
Talk to him and he will tell you about Don Esteban's amulet that is still in his house, he will also give you a clue to it is location and how to get into the house. You can now do the quest in two different ways you can walk up to Hernandez a Warrior of the Order guarding the door and tell him about the amulet or you can try sneaking in through the window at the back of the house.
Hernandez way
Talk to Hernandez, tell him about the amulet and convince him you can find it. Enter the house through the front door, go through the doorway on your right, go to the picture with the tree and activate it. This will make the cupboard next to you move and you will find the amulet in that secret room. If you want to side with the Don go back to Toni and give it to him but if you want to side with the order give it to Hernandez.
Back window way
- You must have sneak for this or you will be caught in the house.
Wait until dark when there are less guards around and go to the north wall of the Don's house. Climb up on to the wall and walk along it on to the roof of Sonya's brothel. On the back of the Don's house you should notice an upstairs window, climb up on to the window ledge and go into sneak mode straight away as there is a Warrior of the Order sleeping in the same room. You need to watch out for a roaming Warrior of the Order who is guarding the inside of the house as he roams through the rooms and comes up the stairs as well. Upstairs you will find Olf one of three brothers (see Find the three golden bowls quest). Looting the upstairs rooms is possible as well as long as you keep the roaming guard in mind. Sneak downstairs, head into the room across from the stairs and wait for the guard to move upstairs and then sneak into the other room right of the front door. Once in there activate the tree picture on the wall, this will make the cupboard next to you move and you will find the amulet in that secret room. If you want to side with the Don go back to Toni either through the window upstairs or just walk out the front door. If you want to side with the order talk to Hernandez about the amulet, convince him you can find it and then give it him.
