The giant crab is very large crustacean with a thick shell protecting its abdomen. Many legs help it move rather quickly in spite of its size and additional armor plating that protects its claws and head. Relatively frequent encounters with these creatures since the rise of Mara has led to a superstition that they are a curse upon humanity.
